Recently, a Twitter user, Emeka Godwin, came under one of the actress’ tweets to accuse her of ‘selling her womb’ and advised the singer to ‘make herself fruitful and replenish’.

“Why did you sell out your womb…And why are you too being fruitful to souls. Pls, you need to make yourself fruitful and replenish.”

The Actress, reminded people why ‘killing with kindness’ is indeed an effective way of dealing with negative criticisms rather than slam the troll, Ikpe-Etim simply responded:

“Dear Joy Vampire, may you be fruitful in common sense. May you be replenished in kindness. May your soul never know adversity.”

Ikpe-Etim’s calm response seemed to have made the troll contrived as he immediately tendered an apology to which she responded:

“No worries at all. How are you today? Good?”

The troll may have commented in such a manner because in 2020, the actress shared her struggle with fans at an event tagged Conversation With Nse.

The actress explained that she was diagnosed with a condition called Adenomyosis whereby the inner lining of the uterus breaks through the muscle wall of the uterus. As a result, she had to remove her womb.

She said:

“I was told I couldn’t have kids. And so, I had to have a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) to make me have a life again and to stop going through what I was going through. And I’m literally telling women and men, it really doesn’t matter if you can’t bear children. What really matters is what you would do for the world, for the universe.”
