According to him, the first contract, valued at 518 million naira is for the establishment of a computer based test centre at the college of health sciences, Jahun.

He said, the facility is expected to
strengthen the institution’s capacity to conduct computer-based assessments and examinations, while providing students with improved access to modern testing facilities and digital learning resources.

Sagir Musa Ahmed said, the second contract, valued at over 459 million naira is for the establishment of computer laboratories in four secondary schools
across the state.

He pointed out that, the secondary schools include GDSS Gwaram, Kazaure, Ringim, and Day Science and Technical College (GDSTC), Kafin Hausa.

The Commissioner added that, the computer laboratories are expected to expand students access to information and communication technology, promote digital literacy and provide a more conducive environment for practical computer education.

He said, through these investments, the state government seeks to strengthen the quality of education, improve
students’ performance in computer-based examinations and equip young people with relevant digital competencies for higher education and future employment.
