The Kaduna State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Usman Shehu Bawa, popularly known as ABG, has described the death of the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Nigeria, Malam Nafi’u Baba Ahmed, as a great loss to the nation.
In a condolence message signed on his behalf by his spokesperson, Yusuf Idris, Shehu ABG said the life and times of the deceased were marked by dedicated service to Islam and humanity.
He said Malam Nafi’u Baba Ahmed would be remembered for his uprightness, wisdom and commitment to the cause of Islam, as well as his service to humanity.
Shehu ABG extended his condolences to the family of the deceased, saying Nigeria had lost a great mind and patriot.
He prayed to Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus and give his immediate family the strength to bear the loss.
