Radio Nigeria Kaduna has expressed its readiness to partner with sister media organisations to showcase developmental strides in Kaduna State and beyond.
The Zonal Director of the station, Muhammad Aminu Abdullahi Gombi, made this known when he led the management team on a sympathy visit to the Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC) following the recent fire incident that destroyed equipment worth millions of naira.
He said the delegation visited KSMC to sympathise with its management and staff, as well as the Kaduna State Government, over what he described as an unfortunate incident that occurred while the station was undergoing a major transformation.
Muhammad Aminu Abdullahi Gombi advocated adequate measures to guard against a recurrence of such an incident at the station and other media organisations across the state.
He pledged that Radio Nigeria Kaduna would strengthen its partnership with the Kaduna State Media Corporation in disseminating accurate and factual information to promote socio-economic development in Kaduna State and Nigeria as a whole.

In his response, the Managing Director of the KSMC, Ben Kure, who was represented by the Executive Director, Television Services, Zakari Aliyu Ahmed, commended the delegation for the sympathy visit, describing it as a gesture that would further strengthen the relationship between the two media organisations.
He regretted that the fire outbreak had disrupted transmission but confirmed that Capital Sound had resumed transmission, while efforts were underway to restore seamless operations across all services.
It would be recalled that a devastating fire outbreak affected the Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC), damaging sections of its recording studio early last month.
