The African Democratic Congress ADC in Niger state has warned that it will never allow rigging and vote buying in the twenty twenty seven General elections by protecting jealously all the votes casted by the electorates through a peaceful democratic process devoid of rancour.

To this end, it will also ensure that results of elections at poling units were transmitted to the INEC server n Abuja directly to enhance the credibility, acceptability and inclusivity of the election.

ADC Gubernatorial Candidate In Niger state, Dr Mohammed Kpautagi who gave the warning in an interview with Radio Nigeria however maintained that this had became necessary to ensure that the votes of every person in Niger state and indeed Nigeria counts.

On the rumours being peddled that he has withdrawn from the race, Dr Mohammed Kpautagi said he will not be intimidated by such rumours by some mischief makers in parts of the state, describing the negative tactics to attract cheap publicity as false, misleading and ungodly.

He however insisted that as the bonefied candidate that has won the ADC transparent primaries in Niger state he will never surrender his hard earned God giving position provided he is alive, and appealed to well meaning people to ignore it, stressing that very soon his presence will be felt in all the nooks and cranes of Niger state when ban for Gubernatorial campaigns by INEC is lifted next month.

Dr Mohammed Kpautagi explained that if INEC lifted the ban, the first thing he will do is to organise a stakeholders meeting and constitute a reconciliation committee to reconcile with aggrieved members of the party to forge ahead.

He also allayed the fears of some people in Niger state that as an ADC Candidate coming from Zone A, where the Niger state Governor comes from, is only out to distort the already established zoning arrangements, he said if he wins the election in 2027, as a person coming from humble background, he will only complete the remaining four years of his zone and allow power to shift to zone B for administrative convenience.

According to him even if the zoning arrangement will collapse, definitely it will not be from him, and wondered why granting financial autonomy for Local Government Councils by the current administration in Niger has became an issue, in addition to protecting the lives and properties of people of the state as well as the issue of addressing their water needs.

A town Planner by profession that has retired as the Federal Controller Works and Housing FCT Abuja, Dr Mohammed Kpautagi accused the APC led administration in Niger state of lack of strict adherence to due process in the award of contract and advised the electorate to use the power of their votes to elect credible candidates of their choices.
