Emir of Dutse, Alhaji Nuhu Muhammadu Sunusi has condemned those discouraging others from taking the AstraZeneca covid-19 vaccine.
Alhaji Nuhu Muhammadu Sunusi assured of the vaccines efficacy shortly after receiving his first dose at the Dutse emirate palace.
According to him as part of government’s responsibility to protect and provide safety to people, will never allow any body to take the vaccines without certifying it’s safety.
He appealed to people of jigawa state and nigerians in general to accept the covid – 19 vaccines as it was approved by World Health Organisation, other international health agencies and the country respectively.
Also Speaking at the enir’s palace, the executive secretary Jigawa state primary healthcare development agency Dr Kabiru Ibrahim, commended traditional leaders for their support and contribution towards successful implementation of health related programs in the state.
