Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board says it has successfully completed the processing of yellow cards for all intending pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj operation.

The Director General of the board, Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo disclosed this to newsmen in Dutse.

He pointed out that, the yellow card is a mandatory requirement for all intending pilgrims travelling to Saudi Arabia.

According to him, the officials of the board has already commenced sorting the yellow cards according to groups.

Alhaji Labbo added that, Jigawa State is among the leading states in finalising preparations for the 2026 Hajj operation.

He further explained that, daily orientation and enlightenment exercise for intending pilgrims across all the 27 local government areas is still going on in disgnated centers.

He said, the board will soon distribute uniforms and travelling kits to the 2026 prospective pilgrims.

Labbo, commended staff of the board for their dedication as well as cooperation in the discharge of their duties.

The Pilgrims Boss also commended Governor Umar Namadi for his continuous support and cooperation to the board.
