Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, has spent the night in Pulka, Gwoza Local Government Area, coordinating security operations following recent attacks in Ngoshe and surrounding communities.

The Governor held meetings with military officers, security agencies, and members of the Civilian Joint Task Force to strengthen security in the area.

Zulum said leadership requires sacrifice and direct engagement with affected communities.

Meanwhile, Governor Zulum has distributed cash, food, and other relief materials to over thirty thousand households in Ngoshe and Pulka.

He said each household head in Ngoshe will receive thirty thousand naira, while married women will get twenty thousand naira, alongside mattresses and clothing.

The Governor also acknowledged support from the Federal Government and Aliko Dangote, who donated rice for vulnerable persons.

Governor Zulum urged residents to cooperate with security agencies, stressing that community support is key to ending insecurity.
