President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Muslims in Nigeria and across the world on the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, urging them to renew their commitment to national unity and humanity.

In a message to mark the end of Ramadan, the President called on Muslim faithful to uphold the core values of the holy month, including piety, empathy, selflessness, and compassion.

He stressed the need for Nigerians to continue living by these virtues beyond the fasting period.

President Tinubu also encouraged Muslims to extend acts of kindness to the less privileged, irrespective of religious differences, as a way of promoting unity and peaceful coexistence in the country.

He further urged religious leaders to use the occasion to offer prayers for lasting peace and prosperity in Nigeria.
