President Bola Tinubu has been formally received with full State ceremonial honours at Windsor Castle during his ongoing State Visit to the United Kingdom, hosted by King Charles III.
The ceremony commenced with a grand carriage procession that moved through Datchet Road, Thames Street, High Street, Park Street, and Cambridge Gate before entering the Quadrangle of Windsor Castle.

The procession was led by the King, who rode in the Australian State Coach alongside President Tinubu. Following closely was the Scottish State Coach conveying Oluremi Tinubu.and the queen
They were followed by the Irish State Coach carrying Prince William, while Catherine, Princess of Wales rode in the Ascot Landau.
Senior Nigerian officials followed in additional Ascot Landaus, maintaining the order of precedence as the procession entered the castle in a coordinated and dignified sequence.
Upon arrival in the Quadrangle, a Guard of Honour mounted by the 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards, supported by the Regimental Band and Corps of Drums under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Benedict Tracy, was already formed up.
The Guard of Honour gave a Royal Salute as the band played the national anthems of Nigeria and the United Kingdom
President Tinubu and the First Lady, alongside King Charles III and Queen Camilla, alighted from their respective carriages and took their positions on the dais.
A second Royal Salute was rendered, followed by the Nigerian National Anthem.
The Commander of the Guard then invited President Tinubu to inspect the first rank of the Guard of Honour, an inspection conducted with King Charles III accompanying him.
At the conclusion of the inspection, both leaders returned to the dais to rejoin their spouces
.This was followed by a ceremonial march past featuring the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, the Sovereign’s Escort, and the Guard of Honour.
At the end of the parade, King Charles III and President Tinubu, accompanied by the Queen and the First Lady of Nigeria oluremi tinubu, proceeded to the Sovereign’s Entrance, concluding the ceremonial reception.
