Niger State Chapter of the Renewed Hope Agenda has recieved one thousand two hundred bags of rice from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for distribution to the less previleged persons in the state that are not necessarilly members of the All Progressives Congress APC.
Flagging off the dstribution of the Items to Renewed Hope Coordinators of twenty five Local Government Councils for onward transportation and distribution, Niger State Coordinator Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Mohammed Nma Kolo directed that only the less previleged persons are entitled to it.
Mohammed Nma Kolo said the donation by President Tinubu, would helped in no small measure towards complimenting the efforts of Niger state Government and some members of the National Assembly from the state that have distributed rice, noodles and vegetable oil of assorted type to the poor persons in the Ramadan and lenting period to ameliorate their hardship.

He however commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the gesture, in addition to his recent approval for the construction of some road projects to include, Minna Suleja road, Mokwa Tegina road and the Bida Lambatta Suleja road among others which he said would nọ doubt boost the economy of Niger State and Nigeria, in view of its strategic location, and as a food basket of Nigeria.
Mohammed Nma Kolo said reforms carried out by President Tinubu, have been yeilding positive results, as before now some State Governors had to barrow money from banks to pay salaries but now have enough resources at their dispossal to embark on various projects, which he said has made it possible for the Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago to execute numerous projects spread across the state.
He however added that Niger State Government spent eight hundred million naira monthly, for the execution of Ward Development Projects in the state, while the dollar is stablising and that very soon the possession power of an average Nigeria will increase considerably and called for tolerance, understanding and support on the part of Nigerians to enable President Tinubu administration to succeed.
