The Chairman of Birnin Kudu Local Government in Jigawa State has distributed Ramadan packages to less privileged people in the area.

The Technical Adviser to the Chairman, Malam Badamasi Muhammad Musa, who led the distribution, explained that the packages include rice and millet, among other items.

According to him, the series of distributions was aimed at supporting the less privileged people during the holy month of Ramadan.

He said the gesture is a demonstration of Dr Builder Muhammad Uba’s commitment to assist those in need and promoting community welfare in the local government area.

He added that, the chairman has consistently emphasized the importance of community service and social responsibility, especially during Ramadan.

Malam Badamasi Muhammad Musa therefore urged wealthy individuals to emulate Dr. Muhammad Uba and contribute to the welfare of the needy during this period.

He expressed optimism that the gesture would go a long way in fostering unity and peaceful coexistence in Birnin Kudu local government and the State in general.

Radio Nigeria reports that, the ongoing distribution exercise is expected to continue in the coming days, targeting vulnerable members of the community, including the elderly, widows, and orphans.
