Niger state Government has been advised to as a matter of urgency make it a policy that will ensure that only successful retired seasoned administrators are allowed to contest the Governorship positions in the state.

The Chairman Youth Group under the aegis of “Kolo Magba Association in Wushishi, Abdullahi Maina who gave the advice in a statement in Minna would also wants money bags politicians be discourage from contesting for both the state and National assembly seats to enhance a robust leadership across the country.

Abdullahi Maina expressed concern over the quality of leaders that will effectively pilot the affairs of of Niger state, as the twenty twenty seven General Election draws nearer and called for collective effort by well meaning Niger lites to address this problem and put the state on the path of peace, progress and sustainable development.

Also in a letter signed by the National Public Relations Officer, Arewa G19 Forum,Comrade Liman Suleman added that “the so call money bags have never been in office to know what citizens are passing through or to effectively provide the dividends of democracy, but are there for their personal interest.
