The Commissioner,Ministry of Women Affairs, Children and Persons with Special Needs, Hajiya Amina Abdullahi Sani, on behalf of the Ministry, has expressed deep condolences to the Kano State Government, led by, the bereaved family, and the entire people of Kano State over the tragic death of six children and their mother in Dorayi Quarters, Kumbotso Local Government Area.

The Commissioner conveyed profound shock, sorrow, and grief over the heartbreaking incident, describing it as a devastating loss to the family, the community, and the state as a whole.

She noted that the tragedy has left many hearts shattered, particularly because the victims were innocent children with promising futures.

Hajiya Amina Abdullahi Sani extended her heartfelt sympathies to the grieving family and prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants them strength, patience, and comfort in this difficult period.

She also prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased and their admission into Jannatul Firdaus.

The Commissioner reaffirmed the Ministry’s unwavering commitment to the protection, welfare, and wellbeing of women and children across the State.

She emphasized the need for collective responsibility among government, communities, and families to ensure the safety of vulnerable persons and to prevent a recurrence of such tragic incidents.

The Commissioner called on the people of Kano State to remain united, supportive, and prayerful in this moment of grief, while urging relevant authorities to intensify measures aimed at safeguarding lives and promoting family and community security.

The Ministry of Women Affairs, Children and Persons with Special Needs stands in solidarity with  Kano State Government, the bereaved family, and all citizens of the state during this painful time.
