President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele, on her 60th birthday, celebrated on January 8, 2026.


In a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, the President described Salako-Oyedele as a consummate professional who has successfully translated private-sector discipline, creativity, and hard work into public service.

Salako-Oyedele, an engineer, holds a master’s degree in Public Health Engineering from the Imperial College of Science and Technology, London, and had a distinguished career in leading corporate organisations before venturing into politics.

President Tinubu commended the Deputy Governor for her resilience and steadfast commitment to governance, noting her consistent display of dedication and progressive values since assuming office in 2019.

The President joined the Salako Oyedele family, the Ogun State Government, and the people of the state in celebrating the Deputy Governor on the milestone birthday, wishing her good health and many more years of service.
