The National Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (N-HYPPADEC) has has described the report of recruitment into the commission by some disgruntle individuals as baseless, false and misleading.

It was only intended to defraud unsuspecting members of public.

This is contained in a statement issued to Newsmen in Minna by the Head, Press and Public Affairs N-HYPPADEC, Malam Nura Tanko Wakili.

The statement explained that the purported invitation for a technical and practical screening exercise for recruitment into the Commission, scheduled to take place at Kainji Hydro Power Station, New Bussa, Niger State is not true.

It however maintained the invitation did not emanate from N-HYPPADEC, as there is currently no recruitment exercise ongoing in the Commission, and however urged Nigerians to disregard such invitations and always verify information through official N-HYPPADEC channels in order to avoid falling victims of such fraudsters.
