Kwara state government has expressed readiness and commitment towards youth empowerment and job creation in the State.

Commissioner for Youth Development, Ambassador Ndanusa Shehu, stated this during his visit to the NYSC temporary Orientation Camp at the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin .

The Commissioner toured exhibition stands where corps members proudly displayed the practical skills they had been trained on.

Shehu expressed excitement over the creativity, innovation and technical expertise showcased, describing them as strong returns on the government’s investment in young people.

He noted that the present administration will continue to prioritise youth development, equipping them with the ability to create jobs rather than rely on scarce white-collar opportunities.
