Jigawa state professionals forum is to present prevailing challenges within specific areas of post COVID 19 work streams. 

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Badaru Abubakar on New Media, Alhaji Auwalu Danladi Sankara disclosed this to Radio Nigeria in Dutse.

He explained that Governor Badaru Abubakar also attended the Kano-Jigawa professionals Forum KJPF technical session with the Jigawa state government.

According to him, the work stream termed “ANNOBA” project covers areas of education, socio-economic, governance, health, media and communication, infrastructure and logistics, technology, and also legal and regulatory. 

He said the Professionals Forum, had initiated a programme aim at addressing the socio economic challenges caused by the pandemic in the two states.

Danladi Sankara added that the underlying objective of the project was to draw lessons from the pandemic, plan for managing the impact of the present and future circumstances, ond the socio economic well being of the people of both states.

He maintained that the report of the Annoba Project was the outcome of work by 159 professionals from within and outside the two states who worked for the last eight months voluntarily and pro-bono basis.

The Senior Special assistant said the membership of the KJPF composed citizens of the two states that have risen to the pinnacle of their professional associations, particularly by serving as national presidents of their professional associations.
