One Engineer Augustine Aneke has recovered a property belonging to him, located at plot T. 19 Katsina Road, Kaduna state from Kaduna Line Limited formerly known as Kaduna State Transport Authority (KSTA) through a court judgement.
Aneke and the Kaduna Line Limited were parties to a suit no: KDH/KAD/675/25, bordering on title and ownership to the disputed property.
The case which lingered for 27 years was determined by Justice J A. Ambi of High Court of Kaduna state on the 17th November, 2025 in favour of Aneke.

In the judgement, the court, found Aneke as the lawful and beneficial owner of the property.
Earlier, the Court of Appeal, Kaduna Division granted an Order of Perpetual Injunction restraining Kaduna Line Limited from interfering with the Aneke’s ownership and peaceful enjoyment of the property.
Unsatisfied with the decision, Kaduna Line Limited appealed to the apex court of the land, and in its wisdom, the apex court dismissed the appeal of the company.
Meanwhile, on the 29th of April, 2014, the High Court of Justice of Kaduna State, declared Aneke as the rightful and beneficial owner of the property covered by Certificate of Occupancy No. KD/2392, dated 29th August, 1998.

Fielding questions from Journalists, the lawyer to the Judgement Creditor (Aneke) Barrister Casmir Ugwoke, explained that the judgement was a well deliberated litigation which has taken longer time since 1999.
“The matter emanated from the Kaduna state High Court up to the Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court. And in all of these my client won. So, today, it calls for celebration,” Barr. Ugwoke said.
