Muslims have been directed to start looking for the new moon of Shaaban tomorrow Saturday thirteenth of March equivalent to twentyninth of Rajab.
This is in a statement signed by the chairman advisory committee on religious affairs, Sultanate council Sokoto, prof, Sambo Wali Junaidu,wazirin sokoto.
The statement says if the moon is sighted it should be reported to the nearest district or village head for onward communication to his eminent, Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Saad Abubakar.
