Governor Mohammed Umar Bago of Niger state has approved the appointment of Alh Abdulkadir Shehu Nafuntuwa as the Chairman of Niger State Secondary Education Board, in continuation of ongoing reforms to reposition and strengthen the education sector.

In a statement signed and issued to Newsmen in Minna, by Secretary to the State Government Alh Abubakar Usman, said Dr Ahmed Egbako will serve as Secretary of the board.

Other members of the board include, Mohammed Madami Evuti as member one, Salihu Danladi member two, Yusuf Yakubu Salka member three, while Dr Yinti Usman is to serve as member four and Abubakar Garo member five.

Similarly Governor Umar Bago also approved the appointment of Ibrahim Liman as Chairman Niger State Universal Basic Education Board with other five members and Secretary Dr Aminu Wushishi.

In the statement the Governor congratulated them for the new appointment and urged them to bring their experience, professionalism and commitment to bear in advancing Niger state Government’s vision of transforming the education sector under the New Niger Agenda to became a reality.
