National Assembly has been advised to sponsor bills that address the socio-economic challenges facing the country, in order to justify the current democratic system.

Callers on KAKAKI, a Hausa programme on FRCN Kaduna Karama FM, gave the advice while reacting to reports of a bill for the introduction of electric vehicles in the country, sponsored by Senator Orji Kalu.

They stressed the need for serious legislation that meets public expectations and urged proactive measures to improve power supply to enhance development and reduce unemployment.

The callers also suggested respect of agreement of their benefits including pensioners to enhance public service nationwide rather than allow protests over such issues.

Alhaji Yahaya Unguwar Kanawa, Gaddafi Rigasa, Isya Dankishin Nigeria and Hajiya Aisha Mando were concerned over alleged bad governance by political leaders which should be reversed to move the nation forward.
