Preparations are underway for the 2nd Annual Conference and Induction Ceremony of the Society of Nigerian Broadcasters (SNB) as the Local Organising Committee (LOC) was inaugurated today in Kano.

The event is scheduled to take place from November 20 to 21, 2025.

The Society’s President, Prof. Umaru A. Pate, charged the committee to work diligently to ensure a successful and memorable event the first of its kind to be held in Kano.

He disclosed that the conference is expected to attract over 400 professional broadcasters and inductees from within and outside the state.

Prof. Pate commended the Kano State Government for its commitment to promoting ethical and professional broadcasting, describing the forthcoming event as a milestone that would further enhance the state’s reputation in the media industry.

In a remark the LOC Chairman, Alhaji Ado Salisu Warawa, expressed gratitude to the national leadership of the Society for the confidence reposed in the committee, assuring that the members would deliver a highly successful conference.
