The member representing Gusau/Tsafe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Kabiru Amadu Maipalace has commenced the distribution of foodstuffs to 2,000 households across Gusau and Tsafe Local Government Areas of Zamfara State under his economic intervention project.

Speaking during the flagging-off ceremony in Gusau, Maipalace said the gesture was aimed at improving the welfare of people at the grassroots, especially vulnerable households struggling with the current economic hardship.

Represented by his secretary, Mustapha Hassan, the lawmaker explained that, each beneficiary would receive a 50kg bag of rice and a packet of spaghetti as well pocket money.

Kabiru Maipalace pointed out that, the intervention covers vulnerable persons, less-privileged families, youth and women groups, politicians, religious and community leaders.

He noted that, the initiative forms part of his broader effort to enhance the socio-economic well-being of his constituents and support them during difficult times.

Some beneficiaries, included Saminu Haruna and Musa Sani expressed appreciation to the lawmaker for his continuous support, describing the gesture as timely and impactful.
