The National Association of Nigerian Students, Republic of Niger (NANS-RN), has disclosed that for nearly seven years, over twenty thousand Nigerian graduates who pursued higher education in the Republic of Niger have been trapped in a nightmare of bureaucratic inaction.
Arguing that the affected students are currently facing endless barriers to NYSC mobilization and exemptions.
Addressing a Press Conference in Abuja on Thursday, the Chairman of the association, Gazali Adamu Tajiri, further explained that the delay in addressing the issue had caused emotional distress, financial ruin, and shattered dreams.
Tajiri said: “Seven years of waiting is not just an administrative oversight; it’s a betrayal of the dreams of an entire generation of Nigerian students.”
The group therefore demanded that all accreditation and evaluation cases must be completed.
While addressing the Press, the leader of the group urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to quickly intervene.
