President Muhammadu Buhari has condolenced President Teodoro Obiang Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea over an explosions at a military base in Bata.

A Statement by the senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu says Over 30 people have been reported killed with more than 6oo injured in the mishap which also left considerable number of homes and buildings in the city damaged.

The statement expresses President Buhari’s heartfelt sympathy to those who have lost loved ones in the devastating incident.

It wishes those injured speedy recovery, adding that the thoughts and prayers of Nigerians are with the people of Equatorial Guinea affected by the tragedy.
