The Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Plateau State Command, has vowed to deal with  perpetrators of jungle justice to address the ugly trend in the state.

Commissioner of Police, CP Emmanuel Adesina made the pronouncement while speaking to Newsmen following the apprehension of nine suspects in connection with kidnapping and other various offenses.

It will be recalled that sometimes in August 2025, a personnel of the Department of State Security Service (DSS) on official duty was killed in Bassa local government area as a result of jungle justice.

Mr. Emmanuel Adesina said the police have arrested many suspects who participated in the crime.

He explained the rationale that led to the arrest of kidnap suspects and other criminal elements in various locations across the state.

The Commissioner of Police charged residents to always be vigilant and furnish security agents with credible and vital information.
