Jigawa State Government says it has spent over ₦18.5 billion on the construction of the 33.5-kilometre Arbus–Girbobo–Garin Bukar road in Malam Madori Local Government Area.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Project Monitoring, Alhaji Usman Haladu Kanya, disclosed this to newsmen during an inspection of road projects in Kiyawa, Kafin Hausa, Hadejia, and Malam Madori Local Government Areas.

Haladu Kanya who led a team of Stakeholders as well as engineers of the state due process and project monitoring bureau to the project sites also inspected Andaza to Duhuwa to Katanga feeder road.

Other projects visited include Bulangu township road, Assalam University road network and maintenance of Balago-Auno road among others.

Alhaji Usman Haladu Kanya thanked Governor Umar Namadi for initiating and executing laudable developmental projects for his people.

He called on people of the state to continue supporting government’s policies and programs.
