The event also honoured outstanding officials from other states as well as private tour operators who distinguished themselves during the exercise.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, represented by the Director-General of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Muhammed Bulama, commended the IHR for promoting excellence in Hajj management.

He further reiterated the federal government’s commitment to strengthening collaborations with stakeholders to continually improve the welfare of Nigerian pilgrims in future exercises.
