Presidency has announced the immediate disengagement of John Umunubo, former Special Assistant to the President on Digital and Creative Economy (Office of the Vice President).

In a statement signed by the Director of Information, State House, Biodun Oladunjoye, the Presidency clarified that Umunubo no longer represents the Tinubu administration in any capacity.

Although no reason was provided for his removal, the statement cautioned stakeholders and members of the public that anyone dealing with Umunubo in the name of the administration does so at their own risk.

The Presidency further urged all stakeholders and constituents of the digital and creative economy to take note of the development.
