Nigeria Union of Agriculture and Allied Employees, NUAAE, Kaduna Council says collective bargaining is key for resolving any differences between governments and the unions.

Chairman of the council, Comrade Shehu Salihu stated this during an
in-house training for newly elected officials and old members of the council held at Nurses House in Kaduna.

He said the only way the newly elected officers could discharge their responsibility successfully was through basic knowledge of the union and specific roles for each officer.

Comrade Shehu Salihu explained that the training focused on three areas which include evolution of labour in Nigeria, understanding the constitution and the dynamic of Nigeria labour congress.

He commended the participants for their commitment to move the union forward.

In an address, Chairperson Nigeria labour Congress Kaduna Council, Comrade Ayuba Magaji Suleiman noted that the council was working torwards agric loan which would be monitored by state and the National body of NLC.

He commended the Nigeria Union of Agriculture and Allied Employees of Kaduna Council for being the first to organize in-house training for elected officers in the state and urged other affiliates union to emulate.

Also speaking, Former Chairman of Trade Union Congress Comrade Shehu Muhammed noted that the training was key to success of labour movement in Nigeria.

Participants received certificates at the end of the Programme.
