Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha has confirmed the date of the arrival of the COVID-19 vaccines which will be on Tuesday, 2nd March 2021.

The Chairman explained that the Vaccines were expected to leave the COVAX facility in India on 1st of March and arrive the following day.

He said about Four Million doses of the Vaccines are expected in the first batch of the delivery.

Mr Boss Mustapha however noted that the expected date of delivery might be subject to change depending on the arrangements of UNICEF.

He also assured Nigerians that Federal Government was ready to receive the vaccines for further revaluation and distribution as planned
