The Jigawa State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ has extended warm Sallah greetings to Governor Umar Namadi, his deputy, state legislators, traditional rulers, and the people of Jigawa State on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.

In a goodwill message signed by the Council Secretary, Comrade Aisha Ahmed, the NUJ called on Muslims to uphold the values of sacrifice, love, tolerance, and almsgiving, which define the essence of the Eid celebration.

The union encouraged intensified prayers for peace and stability in Jigawa and across Nigeria, while also reminding journalists to maintain professionalism and objectivity in their duties.

Reaffirming its commitment to peace and good governance, the Council urged continued support for the Namadi administration to deliver democratic dividends to the people.

The NUJ therefore wishes Muslims a blessed Eid and prays that Allah accepts their acts of worship.
