The newly posted Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Jigawa State, Umar Masa’udu Matazu, has paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the Government of the State, Malam Bala Ibrahim, to formally introduce himself and seek continued partnership.

During the visit, Commander Matazu expressed his appreciation for the peaceful nature of Jigawa State and emphasized the need for strong collaboration between the FRSC and the state government.

He called for support from the SSG to help the command achieve its operational goals.

Matazu also revealed plans to work with the state government to boost internally generated revenue, noting that such collaboration would be of mutual benefit to both parties.

In response, Malam Bala Ibrahim assured the new FRSC commander of the state government’s unwavering support.

He highlighted the longstanding cordial relationship between the state and the corps, adding that Commander Matazu would receive the full cooperation needed to succeed in his role.
