The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbaffa says 13th may has been fixed for first pilgrims flight from Kano.

Danbaffa disclosed this during a visit to Ungogo and Bichi Local Government Centers for the Hajj Induction Course, as part of the preparations for the 2025 Hajj exercise.

 

Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u stated that, according to the schedule released by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Kano State will inaugurate the first flight to Saudi Arabia with Max Air on 13 May 2025.

He further disclosed that the Board has completed all necessary arrangements ahead of time to ensure that everything is properly in place for the successful commencement of the Hajj operations.

In a remark the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusif Lawan, urged intending pilgrims to attend the Hajj Induction Courses regularly for their own benefit.

He also advised them to strictly adhere to the rules and regulations set by both the Nigerian and Saudi Arabian authorities during the pilgrimage.
