Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Abbas Tajuddeen, has expressed shock over the demise of the Galadiman Kano, Alhaji Abbas Sunusi, and a Bauchi-based Islamic cleric, Dr. Idris Abdulaziz Dutsen Tanshi.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Malam Musa Abdullahi Krishi, the Speaker described the passing of the two eminent personalities as a great loss—not only to their families but to society at large.
Dr. Abbas Tajuddeen emphasized the critical role played by the late Galadiman Kano, Alhaji Abbas Sunusi, in promoting peace and unity in Kano State and Northern Nigeria.
He noted that the Galadiman’s selfless service and sacrifices to humanity will continue to be remembered.
Speaker who sent his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, Kano Emirate Council, the government, and the entire people of Kano State prayed for Allah to have mercy on the late Galadiman Kano and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.
Similarly, the Speaker described late Dr. Idris Abdulaziz Dutsen Tanshi as a prominent Islamic cleric who spent his entire life in the field of Islamic preaching and Da’awah.
Dr Abbas Tajuddeen, also extended his condolences to the family and the teaming followers of the late Islamic cleric over the great loss.
The Speaker however, prayed for Allah to forgive the late Dr Idris Abdulaziz Dutsen Tanshi, and make Jannatul Firdaus his final abode.
