President Bola Tinubu will join fellow Muslims at the National Mosque in Abuja Friday, for a special prayer session dedicated to the nation.

According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the prayer session comes ahead of Tinubu’the President’s 73rd birthday on Saturday, which coincides with the holy month of Ramadan.

The President will use the occasion to express gratitude to God for sustaining him in the demanding role of leading the nation.

With his administration approaching its second anniversary, President Tinubu “sees the moment as an opportunity for deep spiritual reflection and supplication for Nigeria’s continued peace, progress, and prosperity”, the statement said.

The statement also stressed that “choosing a solemn prayer session over elaborate celebrations underscores the President’s commitment to the nation’s spiritual and moral well-being”.

He believes that collective prayers serve as a powerful force for national unity and advancement, it said.

The President invited Nigerians to join the prayers from wherever they are, reinforcing a shared commitment to the country’s future.

He also expressed deep appreciation for the public’s unwavering support as his administration pushes forward with economic reforms, security enhancement, and expanded opportunities for all citizens.

“I am deeply thankful to Allah for the gift of life and the privilege to serve this great nation,” President Tinubu stated. “As I mark another birthday and look forward to our second anniversary, my heart is filled with Renewed Hope for Nigeria. I urge all citizens to pray for divine guidance, unity, and healing for our land. Together, we shall overcome challenges and build a nation where every citizen thrives,” he declared.
