Federal Government says Nigerians are beginning to feel relief as food prices drop, petrol pump price stabilizes, and the naira gains strength.

Speaking at the 4th Ministerial Press Briefing in Abuja, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohamed Idris, said these improvements shows that President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms are working.

He acknowledges the difficulties Nigerians have endured but assures that the worst is over.

Mohammed Idris said Federal Government remains committed to stabilizing the economy and improving the lives of citizens.

In his address, the Education Minister Dr. Maruf Alausa said the funds will boost technical and vocational education.

He revealed that six medical schools will soon have simulation laboratories to improve medical training. “We are prioritizing hands-on training in CNG conversion, solar maintenance, and mechanized farming to create more job opportunities.”

Also Speaking, Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, said a codeshare agreement between Emirates and Air Peace will strengthen local airline operations.

The government is also implementing new policies to support Nigeria’s 13 local airlines, ensuring they remain competitive.

Keyamo also confirmed that Hajj terminals have been upgraded for a better pilgrimage experience.

Meanwhile, the African Aviation and Aerospace University is now fully operational, and Nigeria has signed an MoU with Boeing to improve aircraft acquisition and safety standards.

And on international recognition, Port Harcourt and Abuja airports have been ranked the best in Africa for safety and emergency management by the Airport Council International (ACI) in South Africa.
