Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has lifted the suspension of his Special Adviser on Salary and Pension, Bashir Ado Kazaure, with immediate effect. The suspension, which was imposed earlier, has now been revoked.

This is contained in a statement signed and made available to newsmen by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim.

The statement explained that, the action comes after a thorough investigation led by a committee chaired by the State Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice, Barrister Bello Abdulkadir Fanini.

“The committee’s report addressed the circumstances surrounding Kazaure’s suspension, which had been enacted due to a premature announcement concerning a proposed minimum wage of N70,000” the SSG said.

The SSG disclosed that, the decision to lift the suspension reflects the Governor’s commitment to uphold fairness and due process in the handling of such matters.
