As Muslims across Nigeria and the world embark on the sacred journey of Ramadan, the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation has extended warm greetings to the faithful, urging a season of spiritual renewal, kindness, and national unity.

In a heartfelt statement signed by its Director General, Engr. Dr. Abubakar Gambo Umar, the foundation emphasized the importance of moral uprightness, social harmony, and economic fairness during the holy month.

The foundation called on Islamic clerics and preachers to use their platforms to spread messages of piety, tolerance, and love for humanity, reinforcing the values that make Ramadan a time of spiritual transformation and communal bonding.

The statement also addressed business owners, market vendors, and traders, urging them to uphold honesty and integrity in their dealings.

The foundation cautioned against artificial inflation and exploitative pricing, emphasizing that Ramadan should be a period of shared empathy, not economic hardship.

“As we devote ourselves to fasting and prayer, let us also raise our voices in supplication for the unity, peace, and prosperity of our beloved nation. May Allah bestow His divine guidance upon our leaders and grant our country the strength to overcome its challenges,” the statement read.

The foundation reaffirmed its commitment to fostering peace, equity, and social justice, calling on all Nigerians to embrace the core principles of Ramadan—faith, patience, and generosity.

With prayers for a blessed and spiritually rewarding Ramadan, the foundation concluded with a call for divine blessings and peace for all.
