Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Kaduna State Chapter, has reaffirmed its commitment to exposing illegal health institutions in the state and advocating for better health outcomes for the public.

The Chairperson of the association, Hajiya Sahura Jibrin, stated this during a courtesy visit to the office of the Registrar of the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria in Abuja.

In her speech, the Chairperson applauds the giants stride made in the health sector, especially in the areas of accreditation, evaluation and innovations that will improve community health in Nigeria.

The association also presented the registrar with an award of excellence in recognition of his achievement.

NAWOJ Kaduna state chapter has described Alh. Bashir Idris, the registrar community health practitioner registration board of Nigeria as a beacon of hope in the health sector and emphasized their unflinching support in that regard.

In a welcome address, the Registrar thanked the association for the visit and sought their support in their quest to get rid of unlicensed schools and colleges of health that offer community health courses without getting approval from the board.

He promised to work together with the association to ensure proper dissemination of information regarding the activities of the board.
