Chairman House of Representatives committee on University Education, Dr. Abubakar Hassan Fulata has proposed two hundred and fifty thousand salary for primary school teachers in the country.

He who stated this in Dutse the Jigawa state capital, said the gesture will improve teaching and learning process across the country.

Dr. Hassan Fulata also proposed one million naira as salary of lecturers.

The Member noted that federal government has remove Universities from the integrated personnel payroll information system IPPIS.

According to him, the federal government will allocate fund in the 2025 budget for the take-off of the new Federal College of Agriculture Kiri-Kasamma and Federal College of Education Birniwa in Jigawa State.
