Barely twenty four hours after receiving letter of appointment as the 16th Emir of Kano , Emir Mohammad Sanusi has conducted his first palace sitting .
The Emir dressed in a colourful traditional attire rode a horse from the inner Emir’s residence to the main palace at Kofar Kudu to commence his first official engagement.
The Emir was received at the palace by senior counsellors of the palace ,and moved straight to the executive throne chair.
As the tradition of the palace entails, all the district heads and traditional tittle holder lined up and paid homage to the emir .
Hundreds of well wishers trooped to the palace to have a glimpse of the reinstated emir .
