Speaker House of Representatives Dr Abbas Tajuddeen, has approved the appointment of former member of the house Alhaji Garba Chede as the house liaison officer in the All Progressives Congress APC National Secretariat Abuja.
In a statement by the Chief of Staff to the Speaker Prof. Jake Dan-Azumi, says the appointee will be in charge of all communications between the house of Representatives and the APC National Secretariat.
The speaker who assured the APC National Secretariat of the confidence he has on the newly appointee urged them to accord him all the necessary support to enable him perform his duties effectively.
Speaking to National Assembly correspondents on the new appointment Alhaji Garba Chede, thanked the Speaker for giving him the opportunity to serve at that capacity.
Alhaji Garba Chede, also pledged to use new office to promote cordial working relationship between the house and APC National Secretariat for the success of the present administration under President Tinubu and the National Assembly as a whole.
Until his appointment Alhaji Garba Chede, was a former member of the house of Representatives from Balli-Gassol Constituency in Taraba State in the eighth and ninth Assembly.
