The All Progressive Congress (APC) has won all the 11 Local Government Areas of Gombe State in the just concluded Council elections.

Announcing the results in Gombe, the chairman Gombe State Independent Electoral Commission (GOSIEC) Malam Saidu Awak said out of the 19 registered political parties,only five presented candidates and contested.

Mal. Saidu Awak said the election was peacefully conducted and APC won all the 11 LGAs as officially presented by the returning officers.

Also, APC won the 114 councillorship seats and the results have already been announced at the polling units because there was no party apart from APC who fill in the councillorship forms.

He said Mal Mohammed Adamu is returned elected as Akko LG Chairman, Malam Ibrahim Salisu Balanga, Mrs Egla Idris Billiri, Malam Adamu Waziri Dukku, Alhaji Shuaibu Adamu Funakaye.

Others are Mr Sani Haruna Gombe,Mr.Iliya Jatau Kaltungo, Malam Ahmed Wali Kwami, Mr Babangida Adamu Nafada, Hajiya Fatima-Binta Bello Shongom and Malam Abubakar Hassan Yamaltu/Deba.

Alh. Mohammed Garba Chairman of Accord Party AP Gombe said his party contested the election to prove that the party is functioning in Gombe.

He said they have accepted the outcome of the result and wished the winners successful tenure.
