The Wife of Kebbi State Governor, Hajiya Zainab Nasir Idris, has advised Muslims to continue to practice the virtues of the Ramadan of closeness to Allah and to show perseverance, piety, love and unity among themselves and adherents of other faiths.
In her Message to Muslims Ummah to mark the Eid-el-Fitr celebration in Birnin Kebbi, Hajiya Zainab Idris, reminded the adherents of Islam about the religious values embedded in fasting that enhanced awareness of Allah and dedication to his worship.
The Governor’s wife said in the spirit of the festive period, Muslims must strive to be their brother’s keeper through love, goodwill, compassion and care for one another.
While congratulating the Muslim faithfuls for the successful completion of the Ramadan and the celebration of the Eid-el Fitr, the first lady, prayed Allah to reward them abundantly in this world and hereafter.
Hajiya Zainab solicited for fervent prayers from the people of the state for good governance, bumper harvest, peace, security, harmony, social and economic prosperity.
