Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has called on Nigerians to use the Eid-el-Fitr celebration to pray for the restoration of peace and security in various communities.
He stated this while felicitating with Muslim brothers and sisters in Kaduna State, Nigeria, and across the globe on the occasion of Eid-El-Fitr, the celebration marking the end of Ramadan fasting, one of the five pillars of Islam.
The Governor prayed for Nigeria to see the end of terrorism, banditry, insurgency, kidnapping and other forms of violent crime.
“As Nigerians, we must continue to pray for our leaders and ask Almighty Allah to guide and strengthen them so that they can lead our states and country to the path of progress and sustainable development”
According to him, President Bola Tinubu, is working very hard to secure the country and stabilize the economy, urged Nigerians to give him all the support and cooperation.
He reaffirmed his government determination to degrade criminal elements laying siege to communities in the state .
“We have forged solid partnerships with federal security forces and strengthened the Kaduna Vigilance Service (KADVS). Working with our dear President, the National Security Adviser and the Nigerian Army, we secured the release of our abducted Kuriga school children. We give Almighty Allah all the glory”
Malam Uba Sani also disclosed that his government was making steady progress and determined to change the face of Kaduna State.
He further urged the Muslim faithful to imbibe the lessons of Ramadan, which includes self-control, discipline, sacrifice, perseverance, and total devotion to the will of Almighty Allah.
