The Nigerian Army has re-iterated its determination towards stamping out security threats across the country.

Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja stated this at the graduation ceremony of troops of EXERCISE RESTORE HOPE VI, held at the Nigerian Army base camp in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State.

Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja explained that Exercise Restore Hope has continued to provide the Army with a suitable platform for effective mission-oriented training to enhance the combat readiness of its troops.

He pointed out that it has also continued to offer a unique post-depot training model, designed to enhance the professionalism and battle readiness of young soldiers, infused with more experienced command and control elements.

The Army Chief disclosed that since its inception in July 2021, Exercise Restore Hope had trained 3,633 soldiers, who have been deployed to various theatres of operation across the country.

Lt General Lagbaja assured that with the training of more and more soldiers from the training package, Nigeria would continue to witness improved stability.

He congratulated the troops for their discipline and tenacity throughout the training period, and implored them to justify the huge investment with outstanding effects across the theatres they would be deployed to.

A total of 545 officers and soldiers graduated after undergoing a four months training.

Highpoints of the event was combat ready display by the troops and commissioning of a 600 seater capacity dining hall, at the Nigerian Army School of Artillery Kachia, by the Army Chief.
