Speaker House of Representatives Dr Abbas Tajuddeen has congratulated the former Governor of Kano State Dr ABDULLAHI Umar Ganduje, on his emergence as the national chairman of the ruling Party APC.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on media and publicity Malam Musa Abdullahi Kirshi, the Speaker also congratulated Senator Ajibola Basiru, on his adoption as the party’s National Secretary.
The Statement confirmed that Dr Abdullahi Ganduje and Ajibola Basiru are being adopted at the meeting of the National Executive Committee of the APC this Thursday evening in Abuja.
Dr Abbas Tajuddeen, explained Dr Ganduje has all it takes to move APC to higher level as former governor and a consummate politician who comes on board with a lot of experience.
The Speaker who commended leadership of the APC for adopting the new National Chairman and his Secretary maintained that the party had set a great example of internal democracy for other political parties in the country.
He urged the new leaders of the APC to work towards unifying members of the National Working Committee (NWC) and the entire party as well as galvanise more support for the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration.
Dr Abbas Tajuddeen said as a loyal party member, he looked forward to working with the new national Chairman and the entire members of the National Working Committee to take APC to the greater level.
