Kano State Government says it will prioritize prompt payment of civil servant monthly salary and pension to retirees as promised since inception of the administration .

Accountant General of the state, Alhaji Abdulkadir Abdulsalam gave the assurance during a chat with Newsmen in his Kano.

He said the state government would maintain the payment of monthly salary and pension between 25 to 26 of every month .

Alhaji Abdulsalam noted that present administration is also committed towards resolving problems of unnecessary deductions of monthly salaries and pensions.

The accountant general maintained that the state government decide to stop deduction from the workforce and retirees monthly benefits, as a show of concern and integrity.

Abdulsalam also urged the workers in the state to reciprocate the gesture by working with dedication, commitment and punctuality in order to take the state into high level of development.
